Welcome to Poitiers! CREM is the Regional Committee of Medicine Students. We will be really pleased to present you this historic city. Built during the Antiquity, you will be amazed by the amont of historical monuments, mixed with very contemporary buildings, creating a unique place.

Its city center is picturesque and its streets include an important historical architecture, especially religious architecture and mostly from the Romanesque period. Two major military battles took place near the city: in 732, the Battle of Poitiers in which the Franks commanded by Charles Martel halted the expansion of the Umayyad Caliphate, and in 1356, the Battle of Poitiers, a key victory for the English forces during the Hundred Years’ War.

You will be able to discover a fantastic and diversified scene. Thanks to its multiple buildings, including the wonderful Théâtre Auditorium, the cultural expression in Poitiers is high level!
